She's not known for her immaculate sense of style and has suffered more than her fair share of epic fashion fails in the past.
But Lauren Goodger appeared to have turned over a new sartorial leaf as she stepped out on a date night with her boyfriend, Jake McLean, on Thursday night.
Opting for an uncharacteristically elegant ensemble, the 26-year-old reality star cut a ladylike figure for once as she left London's Claridge's Hotel after attending the Health Lottery reception hosted by Simon Cowell.

Commanding attention for the right reasons, the former TOWIE star showed off her new-found style credentials in a chic wool coat with ruched sleeves and a pair of high-waisted black jeans which flattered her curvaceous figure.

But Lauren couldn't resist adding a touch of Essex style to her otherwise elegant ensemble by flaunting a somewhat over-the-top amount of cleavage in a plunging oatmeal-coloured blouse.
The tanning entrepreneur was sporting a deep mahogany skin hue, and wore her honey hair extensions tumbling in loose waves around her shoulders.

Dramatic false lashes and bronze make-up completed the star's look, while she teetered on stylish tan T-bar heels and toted an oversized black handbag.
Meanwhile, Jake, opted for a causal ensemble for his evening out at the charity event, teaming a simple black T-shirt with jeans and trainers.
There's no denying Lauren looked the picture of happiness as she wandered down the street holding hands with her man.

Beaming from ear-to-ear, the couple made their way to the shops for a spot of retail therapy before heading off to Katie Price and new husband Kieran Hayler's wedding party, which is taking place on Friday.
Writing on her Twitter page, she said: 'Had lovely time at @HealthLottery was lovely 2 catch up with everyone now shopping with @McleanJake then drive to @MissKatiePrice yay x'
Lauren's chic look was a far cry from the over-the-top dress she wore during a dinner date with Jake last Saturday night.

Lauren is yet to make her next career move, after quitting TOWIE to take part in Dancing On Ice late last year - and then being voted off in the first week of the competition.
But it didn't seem as though her Bank Holiday weekend was off to a good start on Friday, with the reality star complaining of feeling ill on the morning of pal Katie's wedding party.
She tweeted: 'OMG so ill sore throat, hardly slept and aching! Trust this to happen to me! #2muchStress :(.'
