Bad day for a Goodfella! Tough guy Ray Liotta looks a little rough as he steps out in London

He was once the bad boy heartthrob of the gangster film world but it seems Ray Liotta has lost some of his Hollywood sheen.
The 57-year-old actor seemed exhausted when he arrived at his London, England, hotel on Tuesday.
Struggling with his bag, the star of iconic mobster movie Goodfellas looked nothing like the charming gangster he once played.

Instead the actor appeared bloated and was unshaven with his greying beard making him look even scruffier.
Ray's eyes were also puffy and heavily bagged as he made his way into the hotel.
While many would assume the actor was coming back from a big night on the town, a group of puppets may be to blame.

Looking a little different: Ray did not look like his charming portrayal of gangster Henry Hill in the 1990 mobster film Goodfellas

This is because Ray is in England to film yet another re-imagining of the popular film and television shows starring the Muppets.
Also starring Tina Fey and Ricky Gervais, the newest tale - dubbed The Muppets ... Again - sees Jim Henson's famous characters take off around Europe.
But while the movie will be a family affair, the role may not be such a stretch for the actor who habitually plays criminals.
While who exactly Ray is playing remains hush hush, the new film's story line may see him once again play a character on the wrong side if the law as this time around Kermit and his pals find themselves caught up in a European jewel-heist caper headed by a Kermit lookalike.
Blame the Muppets: The star seemed to have a tattoo on his neck which may be for his role in the new Jim Henson's puppet movie The Muppets... Again

The high possibility that Ray may play a crock could explain what appeared to be a tattoo on the star's neck that was just visible as he made his way into a hotel.
What looked like an equals sign peaked up from the black T-shirt the star was wearing.
It was also no big surprise that Ray was looking a bit tired on Tuesday considering he has three movies filming currently - Sin City: A Dame to Kill For and Suddenly on top of the Muppets flick - as well as two in pre-production and three more which he is rumoured to be in also getting ready to film.
Habitual bad guy: While the Muppets movie is a family film, the 58-year-old may again play a criminal, however it is unlikely to resemble his famous role in Goodfellas
