There's a new Fresh Prince in town: Jaden Smith raps up a storm on the runway with sister Willow as Kelly Rowland cheers them on

It has been 23 years since his father first uttered the words 'Now this is a story' to kick off The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air, but on Wednesday night Jaden Smith was proving he can rap with the best of them - and that includes his dad.
In front of an audience of some of the top stars of the hip hop entertainment industry at the BET Rip The Runway event in New York,  Will and Jada Smith's talented 14-year-old showed off his latest venture - a rap duo with his sister Willow.

While Willow has already been a worldwide hit with her catchy song Whip My Hair, Jaden is new to the music game.
He is not new to much else however, with the pint-sized performer already having an extensive acting career under his belt and he also lunched his own fashion label last year.
The Karate Kid star made sure to showcase his brand MSFTSrep at the annual event, which combines fashion and music.

Her own touch: Willow donned a sedate looking outfit but as always she gave it a punky edge wearing her hair in a flat top style and a large safety pin through her ear

The actor wore a hooded short sleeve top by his label with leather shorts, leggings and a bandana tied around his leg.
Right by his side was his baby sister Willow, who donned a sedate looking outfit of blue pants, a grey and white stripped shirt and a printed t-shirt. But as always she gave it a punky edge wearing her hair in a flat top style and a large safety pin through her ear.
Their mother Jada was there to support her talented offspring donning a white suit-like look with a plunging neckline and peep toe booties.

In good company: Legendary rapper Rick Ross also took to the stage at the Hammerstein Ballroom

The two teens were in good company at the Hammerstein Ballroom, as even thought it was Jaden's first performance, he shared the stage with legendary rapper and producer Rick Ross.
Rick performed amid tight security since he was the victim of a drive by shooting last week.
Not one to let a near fatal shooting put him off, the rapper changed multiple times for the fashion event going from wearing bright red tracksuit pants with a tank top to performing in a white mink - which was so long it dragged across the stage - with no shirt showing off his extensive tattoos and impressive gold and diamond jewelry.

The girl is mine: Kelly's co-host Boris Kodjoe and Meek Mill took turns posing with the Destiny's Child singer

But rightly stealing the show was host Kelly Rowland.
The singer also wore multiple outfits for the night, which she co-hosted with former model and presenter Boris Kodjoe.
The Destiny's Child singer showed off plenty of leg in a black flowing gown whose side was only stopped from being fully open by a diamond belt.
The floor length gown was elegantly draped at the top - but still managed to flash some of Kelly's flesh - and the 32-year-old accessorised her look with mirrored ankle strap heels.

Trying to steal some limelight on the event's red carpet was female rapper Teyana Taylor who left little to the imagination wearing a black dress with mesh panels.
So figure hugging was the dress - which she teamed with thigh high crocodile leather boots - that even in the non-mesh areas the dress was completely sheer showing off both her curves and underwear.
